So it turned out that when there was the threat of a natural disaster, like a tsunami, it ended up being the best day to take pictures of the beach. I mean really, look at it, perfect sand and empty beaches without usual litter of bodies messing up the shot.
I'm sure that sounds really insensitive, but in all reality, I'm so very grateful that we were safe and sound here in Hawaii. Our prayers go out to all those poor people in Japan affected by the earthquakes and tsunami.
